It can be laid over a wide range of existing hard-standing surfaces, including: Tarmac, concrete or MOT type 1 stone base. A dynamic base layer is often chosen for this surfacing system as it helps distribute weight and force evenly over the surface.

Once the base layer has been laid a mixture of rubber granules and a polyurethane resin binder is prepared and poured onto the base layer. This is then spread and levelled to ensure a uniform finish, it is then allowed to cure to ensure a tough durable surface.

Wet pour safety surfacing is incredibly versatile and can be laid in a variety of patterns or designs, these include; hopscotch, letters, numbers, animals, roadways, pathways and much more. It is an excellent choice for nursery and school playgrounds, as it helps to promote physical development and learning in a fun and safe environment. It is also a fantastic choice for play parks and community areas.
